Here's a round-up of events held in Albany every year.
22-26 January 2022 - Middleton Beach Festival. Join this week-long festival with an abundance of events to keep the whole family entertained, including Australia Day celebrations. Racewars - usually late February - Australia's largest Runway Racing event for a weekend of adrenaline! Returning in 2022. Visit their Facebook page for updates.
28 February - 1 March 2021 - Auto One Targa Albany Sprint. Tarmac Rally car racing. More information www.targaalbanysprint.com.au

27 March 2021 - Albany Food & Wine Festival at the Albany Agricultural Society Exhibition Pavilion - See the Taste Great Southern website for tickets and information.

5 May 2021 - The Rubens - Albany - 0202 Album Tour. At the White Star Hotel Albany. Visit the Facebook event page.
9 May 2 021- Mother's Day Classic - An annual run/walk event raising funds and awareness for breast cancer. Everyone is welcome and you can find more information here.
15 May 2021 - Banff Mountain Film Festival. Visit the Facebook event page for more information.
5 & 6 June 2021 - Albany Classic "Around the Houses" and the Mt Clarence Hill Climb. This re-enactment of the original "Around the Houses" event will see over 150 vintage and classic cars competing in a race around the Albany CBD. This is in conjunction with a fun family festival featuring market stalls, food, kids activities and live entertainment. Get your tickets ASAP and remember to book your accommodation with us well in time.
5-6 July 2021 - Maritime Festival Albany - a celebration of Albany’s maritime history. Visit the City of Albany Events page here.
9-12 July 2021 - Albany International Folk’n Shanty Festival 2021 - celebrating international maritime folk music and history. See the Facebook event page here.
June, July, August & September
Whale Watching season - from late May to early October, our area is visited by Humpback and Southern Right Whales, with the occasional sighting of Blue Whales and Orcas. See our Whale Watching page for information on local whale watching charter companies, so you can get you close to the whales whilst still respecting and protecting these gentle giants.
4 & 5 December 2021 - Christmas Festival and Pageant - Held in early December with Twilight Markets. Check for updates on the City of Albany website here.
31 December - New Years Eve Picnic and Fireworks - New Year’s Eve celebrations will kick off at the Anzac Peace Park at 5pm with a line-up of local live music and fireworks taking place at the family friendly time of 9pm only. Get more information and updates on the City of Albany events page here.
