- Mount Melville Lookout (off Serpentine Road from the CBD) offers 360 degree views of Albany
- Mount Clarence Lookout (off Marine Drive from CBD or Middleton Beach) for views of King George Sound and parts of Albany.

- Sail-A-Way Albany Winter Whale Tours (in season) at the Albany Marina (Next to the Entertainment Centre), with summer twilight cruises also available. Whale Watching from June to early October, offering comfortable 360-degree viewing of Humpback and Southern Right whales.
Best History
- ANZAC Heritage Park and National ANZAC Centre - a powerful and immersive experience, honouring the sacrifices and stories of Australian and New Zealand service personnel. Open 7 days a week, from 9:00am to 5:00pm (with last entry to the Centre at 4:00pm). Open during all public holidays, except Christmas Day. Entry fee applies.
- Albany Convict Gaol, Patrick Taylor's Cottage Museum and Albany Heritage Walk - explore the character and charm of Albany's colonial streetscape and discover the locations that contributed to the foundation of the first settlement of Western Australia. Entry fees apply to the gaol and museum, the heritage walk is free.
- Albany's Historic Whaling Station at Discovery Bay, Frenchman Bay Road - Explore an fully restored whale processing factory and whale chasing ship, along with wildlife and wildflower park. Entry fee applies.
