These larger sites are over 9m/27ft in length (including draw-bar & hanging on the back bumper items) allowing for larger equipment. Due to being an older style park, we have a limited number of large sites available, so please only book if required. If your dates required for a large site are not available, please contact us to discuss. Please refrain from putting tarps down over the grass as it kills it. If you require a base larger than the provided shadecloth area, we ask you use shadecloth over tarps please.

Frequently asked questions about Large Powered Sites
What size rig qualifies for a Large Powered Site?
Large Powered Sites are designed for big rigs, fifth wheelers, large motorhomes, and caravans over 9 metres (27 feet) in total length. This measurement must include the drawbar and any items hanging off the rear bumper, such as spare tyres or bike racks.
What should I do if no Large Powered Sites are available for my dates?
Because BIG4 Emu Beach is an older-style park, we have a limited number of large sites. If your required dates are showing as unavailable online, please contact our reception team directly to discuss alternative dates or options.
Are dogs and pets allowed on Large Powered Sites?
Yes, Large Powered Sites are pet friendly outside of peak periods. Pets are strictly not permitted on any site for stays between approximately 17 December and 31 January, or across the Easter long weekend (Thursday to Monday). Please have a read of our Pet Policy available here.
Can I select a grass or concrete slab site?
Yes, you can select your preferred surface type - either a concrete slab or grass site - during the online booking process, subject to availability.
Can I lay a tarp over the grassed site area?
No, guests are asked to refrain from putting tarps down over the grass as it kills the lawn. If you require a base larger than the provided shade cloth area, please use breathable shade cloth instead.
