Torndirrup National Park
At Torndirrup National Park, windswept coastal heaths give way to massive granite outcrops, sheer cliffs and steep sandy slopes and dunes. The Southern Ocean has sculpted a Natural Bridge in the coastal granites and formed The Gap, where the waves rush in and out with tremendous ferocity. The Blowholes, a crackline in the granite, 'blows' air and occasionally spray. The noise is quite impressive. Further round you will find Salmon Holes Beach, perfect for fishing (but it can be quite dangerous with king tides), Jimmy Newells Bay, the Bald Head walk, Discovery Bay and of course the Bibbulman Track.

Albany Wind Farm
Grasmere Wind Farm was built in 2011 by Verve Energy, Western Australia’s leading electricity producer. Verve Energy is at the forefront in developing renewable energy solutions throughout WA including highly successful wind farms at Albany, Esperance and Kalbarri. The wind farm is open to the public every day of the year and is free to visit. A large car park, information panels and both paved and board walked pathways make this a delightful trip for everyone, plus check our their live cam!

Porongorups & Stirling Ranges
Porongurup Range is a fascinating place for picnicking and bush rambles. It is a place of incredible biodiversity with 750 native plant species in an area of just 2600 hectares. Paths lead to several peaks, The Castle Rock picnic site is great picnic spot and also the start of a 4.4 km return walk to the Granite Skywalk with its incredible views.
Stirling Range National Park encloses the only major mountain range with in the southern half of Western Australia. The rugged peaks, which rise to more than 1000 metres above sea level, feature stark cliff faces, sheltered gullies, magnificent views and a rich diversity of unique and colourful wildflowers.

Luke Pen Walk
The Luke Pen Walk trail, located along the Kalgan River in the Albany Region, is a beautiful meandering walk trail, closely following the River. It offers a lovely mix of vegetation from large marri trees and conifers to farming pastures. Gorgeous views are present all the way along the trail. This easy, well-formed nine kilometre takes approximately four hours to complete and commences at a well marked trail head on East Bank Road which runs off Nanarup Road. The walk provides constantly changing views of the river, along with a mixture of vineyards, green pastures with grazing cattle and eucalypt bushland.
